Ben tries to present their app by himself at the contest, however, Tom decides his friendship with Ben is more important and joins Ben on stage. Internet Doctor recommends Tom not use his voice for a week. Tom and Ben plan to enter their Shockingly Secure Anti-theft app in the prestigious "So-You-Think-You-Can-App" app design contest, but when Tom accidentally electrocutes himself with the app, he loses his voice.
However, Tom believes their video to be unconvincing, and tries to trick Santa Claus into making a video endorsing the friends, in response to which he suggests that Tom and the friends make their own show.
Tom wants to make an audition video to convince some TV show producers to give him and his friends their own reality show and has himself and his friends introduce themselves.
