Once again they are showing that only Valve is allowed to have first party exclusives but everyone else is not allowed to and it is considered anti-consumer. Once again, EGS haters are showing that none of their complaining is about being against third party exclusives only and first party exclusives are acceptable. Can you buy Half Life Alyx anywhere that isn't Steam? Nope. Why not? Valve bought Campo Santo, third party developer, and Campo Santo made Half Life Alxy, which is a sequel to an IP that Valve owns.

Microsoft bought Minecraft and they didn't make the franchise xbox and windows exclusive. Even if their launcher is better this doesn't makes this practice good.

But buying 3rd party developers and making their franchise EGS exlusive to force people into EGS is sh*tty practice and shouldn't be admired. You say that they are allowed to buy 3rd party developers, make their franchise exclusive to a launcher that is worse than most people are using? They can do whatever they want with their OWN games. So you are saying that Epic is not allowed to keep their own sequel of an IP they own, that they are funding the development for, exclusive to their own store? Let me guess, Valve is the ONLY developer allowed to keep their own games exclusive to their own store?
